Saint Cirq Lapopie
Take a stroll through Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, elected the most beautiful village in France in 2012. In this listed medieval village, built on a cliff 100m above the River Lot, you can see 13 historic monuments, a number of museums and a wide range of boutiques (local arts and crafts or fine food shops).
You can also enjoy a meal or just a drink in one of the town’s small streets and take a look at the many old houses with their stone or timber-frame façades built between the 13th and 16th centuries. During the summer, you’ll have a chance to take part in the Saint-Cirq-Lapopie Festival, and the medieval festival.
